Have  you had ANY of these ‘maladies’ in your life? Taken a pill for them? On a daily regime of prescribed medication or treatment, for your symptoms, right now?

Has the doctor told you that after a week, a month, a year, you can stop treatment and you will be cured? I doubt it. Has the doctor explained why you have these symptoms? What is wrong with your body that when you drink a glass of red wine you get a migraine? Why do you have arthritis? Why does your brain have a chemical imbalance?  Why does little Johnny ‘just not get it’ when he seems so smart? Just cause? How about your immune system is all whacked out because it is reacting to something you are putting in it.

What if instead of putting an anti acid in or having a hysterectomy or removing your gall bladder, labeling your child as ‘special’, you just stopped eating wheat?  Would that kill you?

What would you be missing, nutritionally if you eliminated wheat from your diet?  . Nothing. If you went on a carb free diet to lose weight, you would remove more than wheat.

Yes, gluten intolerance and Celiac disease is becoming the ‘in’ thing. An article in the Wall Street Journal   “as many as 1 in 20 Americans may have some form of it ” (I think 100% of people have some issue with wheat.) People are finally getting enough wheat! People are getting sick enough, for long enough, some doctors are starting to listen. Dr. Rodney Ford is doing his darndest to get the info out, to regular people and his colleagues.  Not only is awareness of gluten issues going up, but our food is being infiltrated with genetically altered wheat (wheat is a booming business refer to Wiki article). Our bodies are ingesting far more messed up wheat than even our parents did. Our bodies are being slowly killed with the amber waves of grain.

I think we just need to grasp the reality of this. Gluten intolerance is here, and YOU got it. Once you get rid of the wheat you will be able to get rid of the medications, the illness. I promise

Hi! I am. 46 yo female with a bucket list of health issues and have been saying for the last 4 yrs that I thought I was either allergic to wheat or to white sugar (I’m off both) so saying, I went off wheat and prob 98% sugar for 5-6 weeks and I felt the best I had in years but dumb me got a notion to see if it really was wheat and have I been sorry!!! I had an itching burning face and prickly itchy skin for the last 5 days, symptoms related to gallbladder and anxiety and depression.
So, guess what? I’m D-O-N-E wheat for good!! I love to make homemade biscuits and bread and pasta do if any of you have good recipes to share feel free to email me at sing4joy@yahoo.com

He suffers from many things on the gluten bucket list now to convince him he can do it!!
The email address is not a personal address just one I set up for things like this.

  2. I am working on it, especially trying to get my 17 year-old adopted son, who has coughed or blown his nose through his whole life (which leads to constant colds), who also has ADD, off gluten, but it’s not easy. Even in my health food store, there are only a couple of breads that are gluten free and they are not 100% organic. I feel so much lighter after eating a slice of gluten free toast, than I would after eating wheat toast. I have a neighbor, who is a pathologist, told me recently that you don’t really need the gall bladder. That is the general consensus in the world, but, Dr. Henry Bieler warned against this sort of thinking in his 1961 landmark book, “Food is Your Best Medicine.” But, my big issue, now is fluoride in drinking water, and raising awareness of it’s toxicity. Thanks for opening people’s eyes to the ill-effects of gluten, especially grains tainted with GMO’s. We have a very important proposition (Vote Yes on 37) in California, November 6, Cathy, so if you have any California followers of your blog, tell them to vote YES! This does not just affect California, but will set a precedent for the country. In fact, the whole world is watching to see what happens in California. We have to send a message to Monsanto, that we aren’t going to stand for them contaminating our food supply. Thanks for reading! – Kaye

    1. Christy! Sorry, I wrote Cathy for some reason! And thanks for liking by blog post! – Kaye

      1. Funny thing everyone calls me Cathy or Cindy or something close to, but not Christy, often. I answer to it all. I have decided it is because I, being adopted, was not given the ‘correct’ name, some weird cosmic life altering sci-fi thing ;).

      2. LOL, thanks for understanding! – Kaye

The modifications began in the 70’s (to wheat) gene splicing into food did not really begin until the 90’s but boy-o-buckey have they gone hogwild. I was off wheat for the summer as well as a bit before, not tracking time but about 5 months or so…I did re-introduce it in the past two weeks and have suffered enough side effects to know it is not just a ‘theory’ that is out there…it’s a physiological cascade inside me! back to wheat free for me.

    1. Good for you, now! With the combination of wheat manipulation and the medical world being so pill happy instead of finding the real cause, we HAVE to do our own diagnosing and treating. Who knows our bodies better than we do anyway!!

  4. Sandra says:

I’m guessing it also has something to do with the chemicals that farmers slather onto the wheat–either way, I’m cutting way down on wheat intake! AND I will do more reading. . . .

    1. For Sure!! Think about all the chemical adjustment wheat has had to cause it to grow more, be resistant to mold and fungus and bugs….. If a bug can’t eat it why should we think our stomachs can?

      1. Sandra says:

Exactly. Therefore, no food is safe. Thank god for Rachel Carson!

Important read! I no longer have headaches, joint pain, IBS, heartburn and a bunch of other stuff AND I lost 111 pounds. I dare you to stop eating wheat for just one month and see!
