Cranberry Sauce (page 165 Throw the Wheat in the Sea)

12 ounces fresh cranberries

2 Tablespoons orange peal

1/4 cup orange juice

1/2 Cup sugar

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

(I alway at least DOUBLE this recipe)

Mix cranberries, orange peel and orange juice and sugar in 2 qt pan.  Simmer uncovered over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, until mixture thickens, stirring once or twice.  ( Cranberries will pop, that is ok) Add lemon juice cloves and cinnamon, simmer a few minutes. Store covered tightly in refrigerator.  I like to serve this warm with meal.
